FileDone is a UK limited company compliance tracking service that helps you:
- Track Companies House filing deadlines
- Monitor confirmation statements and annual accounts
- Receive compliance reminders and alerts
- Access AI-powered compliance assistance
- Manage compliance notes and documentation
The Service integrates with official UK government APIs (Companies House) to retrieve publicly available company information.
3. User Accounts and Authentication
3.1 Account Creation
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
- You must provide a valid email address
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not share your authentication links with others
3.2 Magic Link Authentication
The Service uses passwordless magic link authentication. Each link is:
- Valid for 15 minutes only
- Single-use (expires after one use)
- Unique to your email address
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse the Service or API limits
- Pose a security risk
4. Acceptable Use

- Publicly available information only
Source attribution: Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

- Data is provided "as is" from official sources
- We do not guarantee data accuracy or completeness
- You should verify critical information independently

- Draft-Only: AI suggestions are drafts, not legal advice
- Verification Required: Always verify AI-generated information
- No Liability: We are not liable for decisions based on AI suggestions
- Professional Advice: Consult qualified professionals for legal matters
8. Service Availability
8.1 Uptime
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency repairs
- Third-party service outages (AWS, Companies House API)
- Force majeure events
8.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Update the Service without notice
- Change pricing (with notice to existing users)
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9.2 Exclusion of Liability

- Anthropic Claude: AI processing (via AWS Bedrock)
We are not responsible for third-party service availability, accuracy, or terms.
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may stop using the Service at any time. Contact us to request account deletion.
12.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Request by law enforcement
- Discontinuation of the Service
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- We may delete your data after 30 days
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
